Gyrotonic was developed by Juliu Horvath, a former professional gymnast and dancer of Hungarian-German origin. His concept uniquely combines millennia-old Far Eastern knowledge of body energy with modern movement theory. Thus, key elements from yoga, tai chi, dance, swimming, martial arts and rowing can be found in the GYROTONIC® method. The fundamental difference to other forms of training is that complex three-dimensional movement sequences are practiced. These are performed spiraling in all directions and harmoniously combined with rhythmic breathing. One training session lasts 60 minutes. During this time you will receive the full attention and care of the trainer.
Tandem sessions are also possible, i.e. 3 people plus the trainer. Here, too, the trainer will provide you with the best possible care.

Gyrokinesis combines the wonderful postures of yoga with the circular spiraling movements of dance without rigidly staying in postures. An energizing self-massage at the beginning of the class optimally prepares the body for the exercises. The body is strengthened, stretched and elongated.
The movements stimulate the internal organs including the lymphatic system and are connected softly and harmoniously through the use of breathing. Because of the flowing movements, GYROKINESIS® is often felt like dancing or swimming in space rather than traditional yoga.
Since all exercises take place without equipment, they can also be used individually at home or, in the case of one-sided working postures at the workplace, for relaxation.
GYROKINESIS® strengthens body and mind and teaches to move fluently, loosely and powerfully. The combination of energy, body and movement awareness built up in this way is unique!
